Training & Placement Cell of Late G.N.Sapkal College of Engineering, strongly believes that the systematic timely and specific training will enable the students to strengthen their career prospective right hence it is need of hour to transform the students from their initial years to the final year of Engineering. With this vision T&P Cell Provides and facilitates the training in following disciplines.
Second year Engineering- We at T& P Cell provide Communication and Soft Skill to the students of all branches. The object is to develop the comfort zone of the students in oral and written communication. For the said purpose LGNSCOE has appointed a full time soft skill Faculty who conducts the soft skill training for SE students.
Third Year Engineering- To provide the Campus Recruitment Training Program of the students To conduct Campus Recruitment Training & Systematic Skill Development Program, so as to prepare students for appearing for Campus recruitment process and entrance examinations of various natures, the training includes Aptitude Test, Logical Reasoning Skill, Verbal and Non Verbal Skill, General Awareness and Personality Grooming. For accomplishing this task we outsourced Technocorp Solutions Ltd, A Pune Based Corporate Training Institution, for the students of TE. All departments have provided the T&P a 2 hour slot in every week for conduction of expert lectures.
Final Year Engineering- To provide Campus Recruitment Training Program which Include Aptitude Test, General Awareness, Reading Comprehension Skill, Company expectations and requirements, Group Discussion and Interview facing skill, etc. For accomplishing this task we outsourced APART, A Pune Based Corporate Training Institution, It has conducted a one week training program for the students of BE. All departments have provided the T&P a 2 hour slot in every week for conduction of expert lectures.
Branding the image of the college is very essential in the eyes of Society and corporate, considering this vital issue we at T&P also undertake following activities to establish strong bonding with students through providing various alternatives of career opportunity.
Computer Department organized an industrial visit for BE (COMP) students to Goa from 16th to 21th January 2015 with prior permission of HOD and Principal. 34 students of BE were taken for 4 days industrial visit of Goa. Three faculty members Prof. Prashant B. Koli, Prof. G K Desai and Prof. A S Patil accompanied. They visited Siemens India Ltd. Our students were benefited by observing internal working and setup of company. It is organized by Prof. M C Nikam Industrial visit coordinator under the guidance Prof N. R. Wankhade (HOD).
During the 4 day period the students also visited popular beaches of Goa such as the Candolim, Calangute, Vagator and Anjuna where they enjoyed water sports. They also visited the famous Aguada Fort and St. Francis Church. The River cruise on the third day was a fun affair where the students and the faculty were treated with the popular local dance forms and songs. The visit to Goa was an enriching experience for the students as they were introduced to the internal set-up and working of industry. Following are the details of visit. During the 6 day period the students also visited popular places of Hyderabad such as Charminar& Mecca masjid,Lumbinipark amazing laser show &a starlit pleasure boat cruise, monolithic statue of Buddha, which stands on the ‘Rock of Gibraltar’ right in the middle of the Hussiansagar Lake viewed during the cruise, is unbeatable, Ramoji film city. It was a fun affair where the students and the faculty were treated with the popular local dance forms and songs. The visit to Hyderabad was an enriching experience for the studentsas they were introduced to the internal setup and working of industry. Industrial visit ended with Happy Moments.
